We had to say goodbye to Miss Hayley. I am heartbroken and raw with emotion. She was my writing partner, my yoga partner, and my friend. She was there when I wrote my first book, all the way through to my 21st. She was with me every step of my weight loss journey, hogging my yoga mat and watching me manhandle a kettlebell. She was so vocal and had so much personality that it's going to be incredibly quiet here without her.
14 years goes by incredibly fast, whether it's in human years or cat years. As she got older, I knew this day would come, but nothing can prepare you for such a big loss when it actually happens.
I miss her with all of my heart.
